Toya Devasya Wellness Resort

The location by Lake Batur is beautiful, but the tacky Instagram props and noise did nothing to make it feel peaceful. This is an overcrowded public pool with poor upkeep and premium prices, not a luxury hot spring. The water was cloudy and only lukewarm, the pools were packed, and loud music made relaxing impossible. Basic service was disorganized and unhelpful. Lockers and towels were poorly handled, and the dirty changing rooms, unpleasant toilets, and flies around the food and seating made eating uncomfortable. The food and drinks were overpriced and low quality too. Don’t be taken in by the glowing reviews. For me, Toya Devasya is an overhyped tourist trap that seriously underdelivers. I wouldn’t recommend it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The four of us stayed in the family-type Jasmine Villa and absolutely loved it. It was great value for money, and the sunrise jeep package we booked was totally worth it. Komang was our butler and took such good care of us. He brought our meals, arranged calls for our activities, and even gave me massages. He was so attentive, just wonderful. We also enjoyed Toya Devasya, especially the warm water. A must-see place. Thank you for a great stay.

Overall, an excellent thermal park, and Setia dewi dan jro kertiii bar had the best staff of all. I just wish they stayed open 24 hours. The tents need repairs, with lots of holes and mosquitoes, and the whole place could use some care and maintenance. Natural fly control would help too, such as coils or fans to keep flies away from food and drinks.
