Komodo Resort

We stayed for a week and I have celiac disease, but the restaurant staff understood it well and were very accommodating, so I had no issues. Everything was clean and well cared for. The dive crew, excursion guides, restaurant, bar, and spa were all fantastic, and the staff were so friendly. Snorkeling on the beautiful house reef was easy, just a short walk from our accommodation. A peaceful little paradise, and one I’d recommend.

The team really made the stay for us. Everyone was friendly and well trained, from reception and the restaurant to the boat crew who took us snorkeling in front of the resort. The front desk also replied to WhatsApp messages almost immediately after contacting us on arrival day. We were there for a six-day mother-daughter vacation, and the food grew on us as we tried different things. The room service was great, too. The resort is inside Komodo National park, with gorgeous sea views when you wake up and stars overhead at night. Their pickup service meant the vacation started as soon as we arrived Labuan Bajo. Diving with Neptune was world class. The crew were friendly, the DMs professional, and there was so much sea life to see. Manta rays were our highlight, though the current can be strong. We can’t wait to come back.

The food was fresh and a la carte, and management was always ready to do whatever they could to make the stay perfect. We’ve just finished two weeks there, and my husband, who’s a very demanding diver with more than 400 dives, says it’s the best place he’s visited after Galapagos for diversity, water temperature, and visibility. If you’re not an experienced diver, be careful, the currents can be aggressive. Highly recommended.

The location is superb, on its own island with an incredible home reef for snorkeling and diving. Komodo National Park is very close, so top class diving is nearby. From the airport pickup through the whole stay, the staff were friendly and helpful.
