The views and setting were stunning, but the food was average and the service felt slow and unpleasant. I made a special trip here because of the great reviews, and honestly, I don’t think it was worth the effort. To be fair, one woman was handling the whole restaurant while it got busy. She took orders, prepared food, served it, and took payment. That’s a lot for one person, and maybe they need more staff. If you’re passing by and want a break, it’s worth stopping. Otherwise, there are other places along this path.

I first found this place while out walking, and had such a warm chat with the owner that I now make a point of coming back when I pass through. The veggie curry was filling and really good, and the setting among the rice fields is charming. It’s a lovely spot for sunset, about a 25-minute walk from the main road along a footpath used by walkers and motorcycles. They also rent three charming bungalows with a pool.

We stopped here for lunch on a fantastic trek through the rice fields and were surprised by how good the food was. The nasi goreng and local chicken curry were fresh, delicious, and generous portions. What a lunch!! The owner was lovely to talk to and shared a lot about Balinese culture and how people live. They also have some superb rooms. 100% recommend!

We found this place while looking for somewhere to wait out a rainstorm, and the owner was happy to accommodate our dietary choices. She was great company too. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere lovely, a perfect breather from the busy Ubud centre. We’d love to come back one day. All the best 💪🏻

The bungalows are beautifully decorated and made, and you can swim in the pool or enjoy the owner’s delicious cooking. Tucked among the rice fields but still close enough to Ubud center, it’s a peaceful spot to enjoy nature. Just wonderful, a real gem and pure paradise. Highly recommended!
