This villa is even more beautiful in person, with such lovely taste and a peaceful, natural setting. We also saw the brand new two-bedroom villa next door, and it's just as stunning. The location was perfect for us, quiet and peaceful but not far from the action. It's about a 10-minute walk to the main road, with plenty of casual and fancy warongs along the way. La Luz was our favorite. We mostly walked, though sometimes took scooters, which were especially fun for our midnight arrival. The Wayans and Ida were wonderfully hospitable. Filtered water was provided and safe to drink.

Right outside Villa Tenang are the rice paddies, and it was wonderfully quiet there. The walk to the main road is a bit long, but we felt it added to the charm. Getting food delivered from nearby places was easy. Our family loved the beautiful villa, the huge bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and the lovely breakfasts. We also fell for the wonderful staff. The owner was brilliant and met us near the beginning of our stay. We had a wonderful time and only wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us.

A beautiful, peaceful place, though a little dirty. Getting there took some effort, and we rode a motorbike to reach the villa.

Fantastic villa with wonderful staff. The yoga room has great views, and active rice paddies are right out front.

The only drawback was the route to the villa, which is long and dark in some sections. You can walk or take a scooter with Grab. Otherwise, the owners were kind and helpful, and breakfast was good. The villa itself is spectacular, with three bedrooms, a modern kitchen, and an outdoor area overlooking the pool. Upstairs, there's a charming view over the rice fields.
