Griya Jungutan Homestay

We stayed in the family room with our four-person family, and it was excellent value. There was a small terrace, plenty of hot water, AC, and a quaint pool on two levels overlooking the jungle ravine. The made-to-order breakfasts were excellent. Just off Ubud's main drag, the setting is very nice, and the friendly staff can arrange tours, trekking, drivers, and more.

The staff and owner were super friendly, and this was the nicest place we stayed in across six weeks of Southeast Asia. It's peaceful but still an easy walk to the busy area. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The cheaper one, around 20 Euros, actually had a nicer bathroom than the pricier room. There's a cute pool and a lovely meditation area, and breakfast was GREAT. Scooter rental is 50k. Laundry was a little overpriced, so take it somewhere else. All in all, worth every penny!

Ririn and Mario made our wedding anniversary arrival extra special by decorating the bed with flowers, such a thoughtful gesture. They're perfect hosts. This is our favorite Homestay in Bali by far, with great-value rooms and very generous breakfasts. It's very central, just 50 metres from Monkey Forest Road at the Palace end of Ubud, with plenty of good spas within easy walking distance.

Griya Jungutan feels like a little piece of paradise in the heart of Ubud. The room was clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was fresh and delicious, like something you'd have at home. Such good value for money in Ubud.
