I was very satisfied with my stay, from 5 PM check-in to 10 AM checkout, at 119,000 Rupiah a night. The place was comfortable and had fairly complete facilities, though there were no towels, soap or shampoo, or blankets. We got cold with the AC on, but it was too hot when we turned it off. One concern: tree roots have tilted the wall behind the place, and it might collapse. Thanks, Vin's Homestay. If the price is still competitive, I'll come back next year. 🙏🏻

The bed had no sheet when I arrived, so I had to put one on myself using a freshly laundered sheet in a plastic bag. The electricity runs on tokens, and the power ran out at dawn. There’s an old, empty house with lots of trees nearby. Kroya seems like a good place for a lodging business, especially near the station, where travelers would likely want to stay. But the management here is poor. It turns out this is a boarding house, and since the caretaker doesn’t live on site, you have to WhatsApp or call and wait for someone to come if anything goes wrong.

Clean rooms and a pleasant environment, with a refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, and hot water. Really good value.

I booked three rooms a month ahead, but none were available when we arrived. The owner didn't meet us and sent someone else instead. When I asked for a refund, he just stayed silent through the person who came to meet me. The owner acted unethically and took no responsibility.
