Ciliks Beach Garden

The bungalow is roomy, with its own garden where breakfast can be served, and there's a shared pool for the three bungalows. We liked the shaded garden loungers with thick cushions, and beach towels were provided. The outdoor bathroom was a highlight, with a large shower under the stars. They've thought of useful details like a mosquito net, fan, a folder of trip ideas and even some information in German. The staff were friendly and helpful, everything was kept very clean, and the market-fresh food tasted great. We felt very comfortable here and recommend it completely. The last three reviews are just mean and don't make sense to me. It's not fair to give such a bad rating without a reason.

Cilik's Beach Garden was a gem for our honeymoon, and we feel lucky to have spent it there. Mr Cilik, Jersan and their family made our stay possible, and we want to thank them all. The service was attentive and kind. Mr. Nyoman helped with everything we asked for, even the batteries, thank you again. (pianak kaping tiga ring kulawarga) We felt welcomed like family, with our own lovely villa next to the beach, and the garden and villa were kept clean and felt safe at night. Thanks, Madé and Mali. We ate as much Balinese and Indonesian food as we could, and it was all delicious and authentic. Our favorites were Babi Kecap, Nasi Goreng and sambal, thanks to the wonderful kitchen staff. We had a refreshing, relaxing massage almost every other day, did yoga once, and took two excursions with Ketut, the best driver and guide we could have asked for. He took us to Jatiluwih ricefield and Sekumpul waterfall, guided us through beautiful temples, helped us bargain at markets, showed us monkeys and took great photos, all while keeping us safe. We hope to see you all soon.

The food and service really stood out. Meals were thoughtfully prepared, and ordering a day ahead helps reduce food waste. They serve water in refillable glass bottles, and the care taken to lower the environmental footprint shows in the details. The setting is peaceful, with lush gardens and a beautiful beach right outside for swimming and relaxing. Service was outstanding and always warm and attentive. The food was among the best we've had anywhere. You might see fish jumping in the waves or small schools while snorkeling, though this is more of a serene place to swim than a snorkeling destination. Ciliks Beach Garden is a beautiful, quiet retreat. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, and the place was so peaceful and relaxing. Everyone on staff was lovely and welcoming. I'm already making plans to come back. If you want somewhere beautiful, authentic and quiet, book it. You won't regret it.
