Cozy Stay Kupang

The staff were so welcoming and sweet. They don’t speak much English, and we didn’t speak much Indonesian, but they still helped when we needed it, and it was nice learning more Indonesian with them. The hostel is clean, with a very basic kitchen, hot water, and good AC. We’d stay again if we visit Kupang.

I stayed for 3 nights, and the service was excellent. For the price, it was well worth it and a great option if you’re visiting Kupang on a limited budget. A Maxim or other online motorcycle ride from the airport only costs around 25k Rupiah.

We had a room with a balcony, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The room was super clean after we asked the room boy to clean it. We stayed 3 days, and it was nice to get into the room before afternoon. But we suspected the bedsheet hadn’t been changed from the previous guest: there was a used mask under the bedcover, and the pillowcases smelled. We stayed anyway because the location was handy, near the mall, traditional market, and our family’s house. The toilet was clean and had hot water. Maybe check that the bedsheet has been changed before you sleep.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times. The place is clean and well maintained, the facilities are good, and the hot water works. They don’t provide toiletries or personal care products.
