The rooftop restaurant was great, especially the Nasi Campur. I stayed overnight before flying to Alor, and the service was really responsive, particularly for the airport pick-up and drop-off. The rooms could use better lighting and AC.

The hotel has a beautiful design and a swimming pool, with very good service and good value for money. It’s very close to the airport and has a free shuttle. Breakfast is nice, and the restaurant is good too.

Mike and his staff really look after you. Upstairs there’s a bar with lots of alcohol options and a pool table, plus a nice view of the city. It’s near the airport, and transfers to the ferry terminal are affordable. The beef fried rice is epic. The rooms are simple and air-conditioned. It’s a unique stay, and you can tell a lot of work has gone into the finished place.

We stayed in the family suite, and it was worth every cent. The building has so much character, and the rooftop restaurant has great views. The food is outstanding, with an extensive menu and great prices. Service is excellent too. Stay here on your way to or from Rote, you won’t regret it. We’ll be back!
