Batatu Villa

The pool and gardens are beautiful, and the staff were lovely and helpful. My room was compact but stylish, cozy, secure, and very nice. It was a cheap room at the front rather than a garden suite, so I could hear some road noise. The resort is a little out of town and you’ll need transport, though getting a scooter was fairly easy. I enjoyed my stay and would come again. Thank you.

I loved my one bedroom bungalow. It was very clean and tidy, and all the food was delicious. The resort is a little outside Kuta, so keep in mind you can’t walk into town. Otherwise I had a very pleasant stay at Batatu resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their WhatsApp chat made it easy to request anything, including transport, scooter hire, and room service. They were very efficient replying too. I highly recommend ordering food through the resort 😊

The one bedroom villa’s pool was a huge plus, and all the services, including laundry, food, and cleaning, were really well organized. I spent a week at batatu and it was amazing. The staff were super friendly, especially the two very helpful ladies at reception. I can’t say enough good things about the place. I’ll definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting kuta!

The staff were really friendly, and at first the hotel looked lovely, but something about it felt off. It came across like a three-star place trying to pass as four-star. The room ceilings didn't look properly finished, and behind the pool there was a wall covered with black tarp where construction still seemed incomplete. One morning the coffee machine wasn't working, so there was no coffee. Breakfast was very basic, with poor supermarket bread. Getting around is difficult unless you ride a scooter, and transport can add another $50-100. They made the bed daily, but on three of my five days I found marks or stains on the fresh sheets.
