The woman who helped us on arrival was nice, but I wouldn’t feel safe staying here. Our ground floor room had a broken window with no lock, so a stranger could get in, and we could hear every detail of people talking outside. There was water leaking in the bathroom, no hot water, loud AC, and mould. The place was run down, not fully equipped, and cleanliness was poor. The location also isn’t as close to the main attraction as described. You need to tell your driver to go well inside. Cheap prices don’t excuse putting guests’ safety at risk.

We noticed the reservation date was wrong the day after booking, just before we arrived. When we asked in person to move check-in or get a refund, they refused. They said the place was full, though we saw several empty rooms, then claimed the air conditioning wasn’t working. It felt like they were making up excuses to avoid hosting us. The Google Maps address is completely wrong too. We absolutely don’t recommend it.

The door to our room wouldn’t open when we came back from a walk, with all our things locked inside. A staff member tried, then eventually climbed through the street-facing window because it had no lock. After over an hour of trying to fix the door, they offered another room on the fourth floor, but the elevator wasn’t working. We had more than 80 kilos of luggage and weren’t offered help. They told us to cancel the booking and get a refund, so we left, already frustrated. Trip advised us to find somewhere else. As we were leaving, another staff member offered to carry our bags, but by then we just wanted to go. The supposed boss then said on the phone that they would refund the booking, but they later claimed they’d offered solutions and we hadn’t accepted, even though we’d spent over an hour waiting while they worked on the lock. This was definitely the worst place we stayed in during two months around Indonesia. Places costing less than half as much were better in every way. It looked dirty on arrival, unlike the photos, which seemed to have the humid wall cracks photoshopped out. The sheets had hair on them and looked as if they’d only been pulled straight after the previous guest. We stayed anyway because it was the last two days of our trip. With the unlocked windows and the room door problem, it felt extremely unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend it, even for the airport location. There are places nearby at the same price or cheaper where you can avoid a bad experience.

The room smelled awful, the AC barely worked, and there was no hot water or reception. The map location is wrong too. Think twice before coming here. There are plenty of affordable hotels around, even if this place is cheap.
