The owners and staff were warm, caring, and always ready to help. It was a pleasure meeting them. Our room was clean and had everything we needed: a hot shower, AC, a comfortable bed, quiet surroundings, and a kitchen with drinking water. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to our friends.

Baik and Lisa were lovely to talk with and helped whenever we needed information. They also arranged a car for us on our last day to get to Lembar harbour. The guest house is quiet and tucked into the jungle, away from central Kuta, and having a kitchen in our room made it easy to stay in and cook. Finding the entrance took us a little while on the first day: it’s hidden from the main road, so follow the path beside the surfboard with the name on it, then turn left before marlaca villas. At some times of day, a few dogs bark and follow you along that path, but they weren’t aggressive when we went by on a motorbike. We could see the pool from our room.

We felt at home during our three nights at Lombok Pool House. Lisa and Baik were thoughtful and friendly, the room was cosy, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good too. With the surrounding nature, it’s a lovely spot to switch off and relax. I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooms were pleasant, with stylish interiors, and the pool was clean. The owner and staff were warm and hospitable, which made our stay at Lombok Pool House wonderful. We’d happily come back one day.

We were a family of five in two rooms and really enjoyed our stay. It’s simple, basic accommodation, but clean. There’s no AC, just pedestal fans, yet we slept well in the very comfortable beds. The showers don’t have hot water, though the cool water felt refreshing in Indonesia’s humidity. We liked being 1.8 km from the heart of Kuta rather than right in the centre. Breakfast is freshly cooked and simple, and the coffee was great. Bring your own toiletries, as they only supply liquid hand soap.
