This resort felt more like a homestay, with poor standards for cleanliness, service, and breakfast. We’d just checked in, and the bathroom was already dirty, with hair all over the floor. The next day, the room wasn’t cleaned even though we’d put up the sign and left the key at reception. That happened every day. The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly either, and the pool looked as if it hadn’t been maintained for months, despite all the reviews mentioning it. Breakfast didn’t meet the standard of either a la carte or a buffet. The so-called buffet had just one option, and didn’t feel like a real buffet. Nobody kept track of the food, water ran out, and cups were missing. On our last day we skipped breakfast, since the a la carte option was only available at 10 a.m. We were left waiting at the table with no staff asking what we wanted. We felt incredibly stupid and taken advantage of, and the staff didn’t seem guilty. Nobody seemed to care about the parking lot or the area out front. Vehicles blocked all the roads, and parked cars blocked the gate. Thank you so much for the exceptional service and for being such wonderful hosts.

We stayed for three nights, then added two more. The location was great, quiet despite being well situated, and the rooms were big for a good price. The staff were very good, and Hery was really kind. Breakfast was good too. The one thing that needs work is the pool maintenance, which could certainly be better. I don’t understand the bad reviews.

The room was revolting: mould, a rotten frame around the doors, and water dripping from the ceiling. There are much better value places nearby.

Only the location was good. Our superior double room was old and dirty, and there was no hand soap or bin in the bathroom. The shower barely worked and the pool was unusable. I guess that explains the low price.

We took a driver's recommendation and stayed here, but it was one of the worst places I’ve been. Our room was filthy and smelled strongly of paint. There were sheets but no blankets on the bed, and mosquitoes were everywhere. The pool was murky, as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Staff at the front desk spoke little or no English, so I had to pull out my phone to show them what I meant by mosquitoes. We paid 100k extra for a “superior” room, but it was the same as a standard one except for a green wall. There are plenty of better-value places, so don’t stay here. Also, I think the five-star reviews are from staff or friends, not actual guests.
