The room smelled awful, and the sheets were stained, almost like there was blood on them. They changed the linens after we complained, but didn’t replace the shampoo or body soap, and there weren’t any slippers. We paid $25 for one night and got very little for it. I know it’s a cheap hotel, but they should still have the basics ready. The receptionist also spoke to us with a bad attitude, as if customers didn’t deserve decent treatment because the hotel was inexpensive. A really bad stay. I won’t come back.

The hotel dates back to 2008, and the room was spacious, but I found a bug on the bed. There were cigarette butts all over the place, and they didn’t clean the room every day. If you care about cleanliness, I’d avoid it.

It was cheap enough and fairly close to the beach, but finding a clean room took two changes. The first rooms had dirty towels and pillows or smelled like a rotting menthol plant. There was no toilet paper, and the shampoo dispenser was empty.

I moved to another hotel after just one night. My room was tucked into a building corner with no phone service, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. The AC remote would turn it on but not off, and the room phone wasn’t connected, so I couldn’t call reception. Breakfast wasn’t tasty either.

The staff weren’t helpful when I needed change to pay my taxi, and the rooms felt insecure, with dark hallways and no secured entry. The place is a dim, dingy, musty hole to sleep in. It needs new paint, a deep clean, and fresh towels and linens. There’s a better Harmony Hotel, so I can imagine plenty of people wind up at this one by mistake.
