Mercure Bali Harvestland Kuta

The rooms were nice, and the location near the airport is pretty good, though there's almost always a traffic jam outside the hotel. Meeting facilities are only adequate, and the food and drinks didn't have anything that made me say, "Yum." I'd say it's better suited to local group meetings and Chinese tour groups. Just alright.

The hotel is only five minutes from the airport. Ordinary rooms cost IDR 600.000-1.000.000, and you can contact the hotel about exclusive rooms. My room was spacious and clean, with a wardrobe, a comfortable bed, and a sofa. The international TV channels had a lot of interference and weren't very clear. The toilet was clean and worked fine, and the body lotion and soap were good. For a toothbrush, you have to call reception. The food gets 8/10 from me, and it's Halal. There are also a swimming pool, fitness facilities, a bar, a ballroom, meeting rooms, and more.

I hadn't planned on staying here. My flight was delayed for hours, I missed my next flight, and the airline booked me a free night at Mercure. From outside, the hotel didn't look appealing or spacious, but once I wandered around I found a restaurant with a nice pool view and lots of rooms. My room felt calm and serene, and was large, with twin beds, a pool view, a comfortable bed, clean sheets, parquet flooring, cool AC, and a refrigerator. Breakfast had plenty of choices and tasted good. The fried rice was great. I didn't expect to end up in such a good hotel.

A good option for an overnight stop, especially if you need to get to the airport quickly. It's about 10 minutes away, assuming Denpasar traffic is normal that day, and Kuta Beach is also very easy to reach. The rooms were clean enough, and the staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast had a complete menu.
