The room had mould up top, a toilet that wouldn't flush, no bedsheets unless we asked, and just one electric socket. When we arrived, the owner wasn't around, so we had to search for her. We found her coming out of the middle house, angry and shouting while demanding the price we had paid. She seemed very drunk. It's the cheapest in Denpasar, but spend a bit more and choose another local owned business. Terrible, terrible place.

Don't stay here. There was mold, and a mouse woke me up. There were no bedsheets or towel. I'm not sure how this can be considered a hotel.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, so I slept well after a long trip. It's a basic place, and you'll need to bring your own toiletries. I was too tired to notice every little detail, but it worked fine for a night's sleep.

The owner, a gentle older woman, lives in the house in the middle and reminded me of my late grandmother. The bungalows are traditional Balinese style, clean and cared for, though the rooms are showing their age. Lippo mall is about 100 meters away, and German beach and Baruna statue are within walking distance. I even walked here from the airport. Bring your own towel and toiletries.

The old tiles and dated look make the room feel a little gloomy, but it was clean. Its position on a major road is handy, unlike many budget hostels tucked down narrow lanes. It's only 1 km from the airport, so it seems useful for a transit stop or for waiting out the last night before a midnight flight. The very kind lady even stayed up for us and let us check out at 10.30 PM.
