Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort

Breakfast was a memorable start to the day at Pullman Resort Lombok, thanks to the food and the team’s smooth, attentive service. Nisa, Yadi, and Ria were welcoming and handled our specific orders without a hitch. They knew the products well and guided us through the extensive menu and spreads with confidence. The breakfast selection was fresh, carefully presented, and clearly made with care. Big thanks as well to Chef Khaerul and Chef Alparizi. Their work, combined with the genuine hospitality, made us feel valued at this beautiful resort. Terima kasih for the excellent service. We’ll look out for Nisa, Yadi, Ria, Chef Khaerul, and Chef Alparizi next time, and I highly recommend breakfast here.

The main issue for me was the service at check-in. The male front office staff member who assisted me seemed rigid, not very welcoming, and possibly undertrained. There was little warmth or personal engagement, and minimal recognition of my elite membership. That was unexpected after my stays at other Pullman properties in Bali, Jakarta, and Bogor. Compared with those hotels, Pullman Lombok Merujani felt more average and less refined, without the strong hospitality touch I associate with the brand. Even a nearby Accor four-star property felt more homey and welcoming, which made the service gap stand out. I stayed three days in an ocean-facing room with a nice view. The room facilities met general five-star expectations, but rain blew into the room during heavy rain and strong winds, and water pooled in several hotel areas. That raised concerns for me about the design and drainage, especially at this market level. The hotel has a lot going for it: it’s in Mandalika, conveniently close to the Mandalika Circuit, and works well for leisure or event stays. It has a pool, fitness center, and direct beach access just beside the pool, which is a real strength. Breakfast had a reasonable range and acceptable taste, and I ate at the same restaurant throughout my stay. The food was good, and the staff there were consistently polite and attentive. With its location and beachfront setting, the property has potential, but staff training, service culture, and guest care, especially at the front office, need improvement to meet Pullman’s standards.

The pool day alone would make me consider staying at Pullman Lombok if I return. We had the whole pool area and beach to ourselves in a private cove with no other development around, so it was wonderfully peaceful. We even watched a herd of buffalo wander across the sea view. The deckchair price was good compared with nearby resorts, and it can be credited against food and drinks. We ordered food and everything was delicious and well priced. Jaelani, the manager on duty, was a joy, friendly and personal while taking care of everything we needed. We didn’t stay overnight this time, but wouldn’t hesitate next time. Highly recommend for a peaceful, uplifting day by the sea.

The beach setting is beautiful, with lush tropical greenery and views of both the gardens and sea. We felt lucky to have that view. During the heat of the day, we spent a couple of hours cooling off in the pool, which was quiet with great music playing. Our room was cute, very clean, fully equipped, and had a lovely bathtub. Breakfast was plentiful, with Mediterranean, Indonesian, and Western choices, plus tasty juices. We stayed two nights in low season and absolutely loved it. Pak Reza welcomed us, explained the facilities, and made sure we were booked on the shuttle into town. He kept greeting us by name and asking how we were. Nitiya also did a fantastic job helping us check out. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you, Pullman Team!
