Puri Rinjani Bungalows

The surf lessons we arranged through the hostel were fab, and PJ the manager really went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The staff were lovely and helpful, the facilities were great, and the pool was especially nice. Best hostel I’ve stayed in Indonesia. 10/10 recommend it if you’re coming to Lombok!

I was really disappointed with how the late checkout request was handled. At 11:32, I sent my daughter to ask if we could stay until after the 12:22 zuhur adzan so I could pray in the room, since checkout was at 12:00. The staff wouldn’t allow even those extra 22 minutes. I’d already been patient after reporting the broken phone three times the night before and into the morning. It still didn’t work after staff tried to replace it, and the door handle was broken too, so they moved us to another room. I think the hotel needs a clearer policy for situations like this.

The beach is just a minute away, which was great, and staff were warm and friendly. The grounds are very well kept. In the Mandalika area everything around is manicured, and there are plenty of places to eat and convenience stores. The room, though, is old and basic. Decent enough, but past its prime.

We loved staying at Puri Rinjani. Your staff made it special with their warm welcome and professional service. Thanks for everything, we’ll definitely be back!
