The kitchen was barely usable: one side of the gas stove hardly worked and the other didn't work at all until it was fixed the next day. There were hardly any kitchen basics, no proper knives, strainer for rice, dish towel, salt, pepper, or other essentials. The rooftop listed with the accommodation wasn't accessible either. Other problems included several broken or nonworking electrical outlets and lights, low water pressure, and AC that didn't work properly, especially in the daytime. The bedding was poor and the pillows extremely hard. After four very bad nights, I was exhausted and sick, likely from lack of rest and the AC. We paid 7,200,000 IDR for 4 nights for a place advertised as premium, but it was very different from the photos and description. The room was tiny, poorly maintained, and unclean. Housekeeping came only once, and it stayed dirty throughout. We reported everything and requested a partial refund, but they refused. They offered two meal vouchers, which didn't address the gap between the accommodation and the advertised standard. This wasn't worth the price, and the property doesn't reflect what is shown online. Future guests should be cautious and manage their expectations.

The kitchen was barely equipped, and even the stove failed on New Year’s Eve. Three staff members spent about 40 minutes trying to fix it, but one burner only worked a little, so even eggs took half an hour. We had to search for an open restaurant at 10 PM, when nearly everywhere was booked. The hotel refused to adjust our rate to the standard room price and offered two lunches instead, which didn’t feel fair. That’s part of a bigger problem: we paid almost 7,500,000 IDR for four nights in a Premium Room, but it felt old and worn. The entrance road was damaged, with metal rods exposed because of an inactive construction site across the road. Our room had debris on the floor, dusty windowsills, broken outlets and lamps, and faulty outdoor lighting. The air conditioning barely cooled during the day, water pressure was very low, and the telescope was blurry and rusty. Breakfast dishes weren’t cleared, and nobody came to clean the room during our stay. The advertised rooftop was the main reason we paid extra. It was supposed to have a 360° view, sunbeds, and a table, but the manager said it had been closed for about six months after an accident. We weren’t told when booking or in hotel messages, while booking sites and Google still showed photos of it as available. There were only a tiny pan, a pot, two forks, and two small knives in the kitchen, with no strainer, cooking knife, dish towel, salt, pepper, or basics. Drinking water was kept outside in a gallon container, so it was warm, and there were no glass bottles for chilling it. Oat milk was listed at breakfast but unavailable. Staff wouldn’t get it from a nearby shop even though my husband is allergic to regular milk, and it was still unavailable when we left 😂 The room didn’t deliver the advertised premium perks, so I wouldn’t pay extra for it.

The staff were excellent: they dealt with every question and comment straight away, and room service was quick and really good. We chose the hotel for its location and jacuzzi, though the jacuzzi wasn’t heated when we arrived. There was also loud construction right outside, from 8 in the morning until 5 in the evening, as a new building was going up.

I liked the view, and room service was friendly and very quick. Still, the room felt small, with nowhere to put my luggage. The toilet didn’t flush properly, and I waited two hours after check-in for towels because they were waiting on the laundry. The bed and furniture looked worn. Construction was going on right outside, and I hadn’t been warned before booking. I paid 2m IDR, which felt relatively high. This place has potential but needs to improve a lot. I stayed just one night.
