We enjoyed our stay at Alasa B&B Facility and would happily recommend it. The room was small but spotless, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were warm and helpful, especially the two women making breakfast each morning. We didn't stay longer because smoke from a neighboring guest could drift into the whole room. It would be good to have a no-smoking policy. The rooftop is beside the pool at Villa Alasa, so now and then we heard the filter or kids swimming, but it was manageable and didn't bother us much. We hope the smoke issue can be addressed before our next visit.

The host cancelled my confirmed Villa Alasa booking just a few weeks before our trip, even though I had booked through Airbnb over a month earlier and paid in full. The dates were July 17-19, 2025, and the reason given was that it "overlaps with a prior booking." That left a serious disruption to our plans. A refund was promised, but processing it takes time, which was frustrating and avoidable if the reservations had been managed properly. It seems bookings were being accepted across multiple platforms, perhaps through other online travel agents or WhatsApp, without proper coordination. Any overlap should have been caught when I made the booking. The host sent a generic apology, but offered no real resolution.

Getting into town on foot isn't really practical, so you'll need a scooter, which the villa can arrange. That also means the place stays quiet and peaceful. Our room was the last one on the ground floor, with a calming distant ocean view each morning. It had modern furnishings, a clean, sleek look, and a very comfortable bed and sheets. The staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious every day. The WiFi could use work, since the signal didn't reach inside our room. We had a great stay.

We really liked Villa Alasa and would come back. It was clean and comfortable, and just five minutes from Kuta by scooter. The only disappointment was storage: there was just one wardrobe, and it was small. Still, the value for the price was brilliant. Recommended.

We only stayed one night, but the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast arrived right on time. The uphill road is worth it for the view. I do wish I'd had more information about how to get there so I could prepare myself and the vehicle. I left two videos from when I was leaving to give you an idea.
