Kuta Cove Hotel

The garden is nice, the staff are friendly, and the location and price are good. The room was spacious, but not very clean; I found three cobwebs. Wifi was good, too. It’s VERY noisy. Forget sleeping before 1 a.m., and on a party night at the bar next door, it was 3 a.m. If you’re not an early sleeper, I guess the place is good.

The room was quite large and had a television, and the service was really nice. The swimming pool is cute and clean. At night they turn down the lights, which gives the hotel a romantic feel. You also get a free pancake for breakfast 😊 It’s worth the price. I didn’t expect too much since the rate was standard, but I was pleasantly surprised.

We really liked the garden around the central pool. The pool itself was great, with excellent water quality, and the rooms were decent. Breakfast was okay, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All of this came at a very reasonable price. You can hear some street or nearby restaurant noise, but that’s inevitable in central Kuta. The location is great, five minutes from Kuta Beach and close to everything else Kuta offers, with an Indomart next door. It would clearly be our first choice if we came back.

We checked in for one night, and the live band playing on the other side of our room made sleep impossible. The bass shook the bed, and earplugs did nothing. I’m not a light sleeper, but I couldn’t sleep for a second. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels near party places and never experienced anything like it. They knew about the band, so a half-decent hotel would have told us in advance. This is unacceptable, especially when you book somewhere outside the city center.
