We left and found another place, something we hadn't done once during our month staying in homestays and hostels. The room was filthy, with spiders and their webs everywhere and a dead cockroach under the bed. There wasn't enough running water even to wash our hands, so showering wasn't possible either. We couldn't find the homestay at first and only got there after ten minutes with help from a neighbor. Nobody there could speak English. We spoke with someone by phone, and he told us to go into the room and said he'd arrive in the evening. We tried to explain the problems to his daughter with Google Translate; she said she'd try to fix things, or her father would come that evening. At 9:30 he still hadn't shown up, and we were told he'd come the next morning. We still had no proper running water. It was a very unpleasant experience, especially with nobody to talk to, and it seemed like they weren't used to having guests. Seriously, choose the next best place.

At 10 at night, after telling the owner there was no water in our room, he screamed at us to get out. We had to walk a long way to another hotel in the dark, which was really uncomfortable. The room had no water, air on, sheets, pillowcase, toilet paper, or towels. Worst place I've ever stayed. Never go here!

The air conditioned room was really comfortable, and the pancakes were so tasty. It was inexpensive and clean, and the owner was friendly and helpful. You can rent a handy scooter for 50.000 a day too. Highly recommended.
