S18 Bali Villas

We walked into this “villa” and straight back out. The toilet had visible urine that looked like it had been there a while, there was dirt everywhere, and toothpicks were scattered on the floor. I might have cleaned that up myself, but there was black mould throughout the room and pool. The private pool we paid for was broken in several places, mouldy, and had pool lights and live wires hanging into the water. The fountain didn’t work either. They offered us another room, but we declined for obvious reasons. When I asked for a refund, the manager, a man named Radi, called me a whale among other things, yes, I’m heavier, and laughed with his colleagues. They said awful things in Indonesian, apparently unaware I had Google Translate open the whole time. Pretty embarrassing for the owner. Luckily I have thick skin, haha. Agoda refunded me immediately after I sent pictures of the mould and pool, and they’re investigating whether to remove this property. Please don’t get taken in by the photos from 10 years ago like I did. This was way beyond something to “let go” over.

We loved our honeymoon here. The villa was really nice and close to the places we wanted to visit. The staff were welcoming, always happy, and willing to help at any time, 24/7. Our room was cleaned daily with care.

Hendra and Sindi made our stay memorable with their warmth, attention, and helpfulness throughout. Their genuine care and professional service added a personal touch. S18 Villas is beautiful, well cared for, and in a peaceful spot that’s still convenient. It felt relaxing and luxurious, a great place to unwind. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The villas and their pools were a delight, and the staff were attentive and helpful. We spent four nights here while my wife was attending the Siloam hospital nearby. It’s a quiet location that’s still convenient for getting around. We ate in, and the food was good, though not outstanding. No real complaints.
