I’m a little torn about this review. We came back with my family because we stayed here five years ago during the pandemic and were really impressed then. The view is still stunning, and for the price, getting a private pool and this much privacy is very good value. A similar villa elsewhere could easily be IDR 5 million or more per night. The villa’s condition felt different in 2026, though. Some upkeep seems to be missing. The upstairs bathroom water kept switching on and off. I could see efforts to improve things, including fresh paint and visible repairs, but maintenance still has some catching up to do. A big part of why I’m giving five stars is Pak Ketut Susila, if I have the name right. He was responsive, accommodating, and genuinely helpful the whole stay. At checkout, he carried our three large suitcases up and down all those stairs without hesitation. He seemed to be covering everything from security and maintenance to bellboy duties, always patient and warm. Please give this man a raise. The service, especially his, helped save the experience, and I hope upkeep can catch up to the villa’s potential.

The view was amazing, but the beach only looks nearby. It’s actually a 50-minute walk, and there’s nothing around the villa. Even taxi drivers laughed about how boring the area was. Staff weren’t helpful either. When we pointed out the ants all over the living room floor, we were told they didn’t harm anyone. There were missing pool tiles, which felt like a serious hazard, and the beds were dirty. None of the safes worked. The villa sleeps 8-10, but there were only two sun loungers outside. That doesn’t make sense.
We stayed at Villa E and left the morning after checking in that evening. No management staff were there to check us in, just one person who seemed responsible for other villas. There was a man at the front gate, but he wasn’t very friendly, and we had no management phone number to call. The villa was old, dirty, and had a strange smell, especially in the bathroom and bedroom. The appliances were old and rusty, and things seemed to break easily. We also couldn’t lock the front door. Parking was very limited, probably less than five cars. I was very disappointed. It wasn’t worth the price, and I’d suggest finding another nearby villa.
Villa P has great views, but the big house felt almost empty, with what seemed like just two rooms, a living room, and not much furniture. It could be really nice, but it didn’t make me want to stay in and spend the day there. It is in the middle of nowhere, though transportation and food are easy to get through the apps.
Getting to restaurants and other places was a hassle since this spot is so remote. It does feel private, but bring your own taxi driver's number because the staff weren't much help arranging rides. They were rarely around, and the WhatsApp service wasn't very useful either. The rooms also need a better clean and a little updating. The views are lovely, though, and really the main reason to stay.
