We had the time of our lives on the Maheswari boat trip to Komodo National Park. The organization was perfect from booking right through to the end, and things ran just as smoothly on board. The food was amazing too. It’s impressive what they manage to make in such a small kitchen. Everyone on board had a blast, and we’re still talking about the trip in WhatsApp and Instagram. Our guide Cesar was unbelievable. He was there for everyone, always in a great mood, made drone videos, took us to some gorgeous snorkeling spots, and got a legendary dance party going on deck. Man, you’re awesome. Thanks so much for everything, guys. I miss you, but I’ll be back. Then I guess it’s Lombok and the whale sharks! Greets, Oli.

The snorkeling and trekking around the islands were the main activities, and we saw lots of wildlife. The highlights were swimming with sea turtles and seeing the Komodo dragons. Our meals were excellent, mostly traditional Indonesian food, and we were well fed. Tour guide Marsel knew a lot and spoke very good English. He was easy to reach on WhatsApp beforehand and made the trip enjoyable. Our group of three booked a private 3-day, 2-night trip with Komodo Boat Trip from Labuan Bajo in July 2022. We had a great time and would recommend the company to most people. The price felt fair for a private boat, especially as other companies quoted around twice as much. The boat itself was very basic. A more luxurious one was available, but we chose not to pay extra. We were happy with the basic boat; anyone wanting a more polished boat should consider the upgrade.

We ended up extending our plans from a three-day boat trip to an eight-day trip around the island because Marcel organized everything so well. Communication was perfect from the start. He talked us through the arrangements in person, listened to our ideas and wishes, and found us a fantastic, very reliable driver. Thanks for making our adventure holiday unforgettable!

A Komodo boat trip means going to Komodo Island on a fishing boat. It’s also often called Komodo sailing, since the boats tour the islands around Komodo National Park. There are usually a few trip lengths to choose from: one-day sailing, two days and one night, or three days and two nights. These are the kinds of boats typically used for the trips.

We booked a 2-day, 1-night open-air trip through Komodo Boat Trip agency and were very pleased. The trip was excellent and enjoyable, just what we’d hoped for. We’d recommend booking and vacationing with this agency to our friends. Thank you, Mr. William (Komodo Boat Trip).
