This is BASIC accommodation, but I slept excellently at the Mawar. The location is great, the price is cheap, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the AC worked fine. Don’t stay here if you expect English service or mind old wall stains and holes everywhere. The sink wasn’t connected to anything, a first for me in Asia. If you want to test your relationship, see if she’ll stay here with you for a night. It’s awesome, but it’s also rock bottom.

Mawar Hotel is a simple, budget-friendly place where you get what you pay for. I spent one night there, and everything went smoothly. The sea view was lovely, and the room service food was surprisingly good.

The view was nice and the staff seemed pleasant, but I wasn’t happy with the hotel. The AC didn’t work, the bed was disgusting, and the door looked like a toddler could kick it in. The bathroom was really gross and hadn’t even been flushed.

It’s very close to the Waterfront and Harbour. You can also walk to places to eat in the tourist area.

The view is good, but bring your own toiletries since they don’t provide soap and similar things. The towel wasn’t in proper condition either, so it’s better to bring one of your own.
