If you're stopping in Lamongan or planning a staycation, I'd avoid PURI KAROMAH SYARIAH. How can a place claim to follow sharia while charging usury? To me, it goes against Islamic law under the sharia label.

The karaoke from the cafe nearby at night was the biggest nuisance. Still, for the price, I'd recommend the place. Parking is fairly roomy, the location is easy to reach, the rooms are decent for what you pay, and the Wi-Fi is fast. Staff professionalism could be better, and the AC and TV settings could use adjustment for cooling and picture clarity.

The room is cheap, but booking requires a guarantee worth three times the room rate, supposedly to cover damage. The guarantee is only mentioned at the end. If you cancel your check-in, you don't get your money back, especially since payment is made by transfer.

August 19, 2023, I paid 100,000 Rupiah for room 208 on the second floor. The parking area is spacious, and the stairs felt safe. The room was tidy and clean, with a closet and drawers, mirror, chair, two power outlets, and free Wi-Fi. There was no bin, fan, TV, or blanket. The shower and toilet were clean, and towels, soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo were provided. It was very quiet. You can order food at very affordable prices and have it brought to your room. The floor looked clean but felt sticky, and the tap water tasted a little salty. Bring footwear for the room, and use the prayer room in the parking lot if you need to pray. You may want mineral water for brushing your teeth. Service was quick and friendly 👍👍 Keep it up.
