OYO 517 Hotel Arjuna Lawang

The chicken soto at breakfast was delicious, and I slept well. The rooms are wide, with enough space for 15 to 20 people to sit on the floor, and each one has a parking space right outside. It's a single-storey resort hotel, surrounded by trees. Big black ants came into the room, though they weren't a bother. There were four tea bags, which tasted good, a hot water pot, and two bottles of mineral water. The bathroom supplies were just two towels and one bar of soap. I remember this hotel being well known in the 90s, back when I was a kid. It sits right on the main road, but the sign is small, so you have to watch for it if you're coming by bus. The room rate seemed standard for current hotel prices. The facilities weren't what I expected. Getting hot water was difficult because the tap had to be turned opposite to the hot water marking. Even then, the water was only warm and came out slowly in a weak stream. I had a good night's sleep. I guess it's a good option if you need to stay in Lawang and don't plan to go to the Malang area.
