My family and I expected the two-room villa we first stayed in to be clean and tidy, but it was the opposite. There was mold in the showers, random stains on beds, sofas, and other furniture, and we found hair and bugs around the villa. We moved to a three-room villa afterward, which was much neater and better.

This is our new go-to place to stay in seminyak. It’s only about 200 metres from bintang supermarket and the strip for shopping, eating, and drinking. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in every way. The villa was awesome, with great amenities, its own private pool, and a bath on the deck. There’s plenty of cupboard storage and it was well stocked with cutlery, crockery, glasses, and more.

We’d happily stay here again any time. The value is excellent, and we found the daily breakfast delicious, especially the nasi goreng or mei goreng. Our one-bedroom villa was a great size, with a huge bed, modern Android TV, lots of storage, and a fully functional kitchen. The private plunge pool and secluded yard were a highlight. Staff were wonderful, accommodating, and friendly while staying almost out of sight. It’s a comfortable walk to the beach and only 200 m from Bintang Supermarket, close to the heart of Seminyak.

A lovely, quite private villa that felt perfect for a couple. The hotel’s ride to the gym was a nice extra that not every hotel offers. I only wish it started earlier, since 7 am was the earliest. I’d love to come back.

Our complimentary breakfast was nice and made to order, and there was security at the gate all the time, which was a plus. The villas sit close to the main road and shops, yet they’re very quiet. They don’t come with many utensils, but you can ask for what you need. We’d booked a Deluxe Villa, but the neighbours were noisy. Sindy did everything she could to help and moved us to a better villa without neighbours, where I could work and sleep well. Sindy and her team manage the Villas exceptionally well. I highly recommend Downtown Villas for a stay in Legian.
