The buildings could communicate better with each other, but I really appreciate the teamwork and effort from Ms. Aida, Ms. Clairine, the Carstenz, Heirloom and Model J security team, and Ms. Diana. I was staying for just one night and had asked Ms. Aida for 3 rooms on one floor over a weekend. She handled it beautifully and found the best arrangement for us. Later, around 6PM, I lost my purse with my identity cards, money, and other things in it in a public communal area used by Carstenz Heirloom and Model J hotel. Ms. Clairine, the security team, and Ms. Diana responded quickly. They found it and returned it before I checked out. Thank you, and best wishes to the team!

The pool was a highlight for my family, it’s large, well kept, and lovely for relaxing together. Our room was very clean and well maintained, making the stay comfortable and restful. The strategic location also made it easy to get around. We had a great experience at Model J Hotel BSD and will definitely return with the family. Highly recommended!

I’d stay here again if I get the chance. At Model J Hotel BSD Carstensz, check-in went smoothly and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and neatly arranged, with enough facilities for a short visit or business trip. The BSD location is convenient for getting around. It was a pleasant stay.

I stayed here in Q3 2025. It seems like a newly built, fairly good budget hotel. The spacious room has simple Japanese flat style interiors, but the AC didn’t cool, which was my biggest downside. The pool is small but adequate, and the sauna is small yet quite good. The gym has a lot of equipment, though it’s undermaintained. The way things are arranged on the facilities floor feels odd and inefficient. The location in BSD is pleasant and connects to Carstenz mall, but the mall feels sad, with very few shops and little to do. Hospitality was kind of good, though the online system made things slow and complicated. There’s no desk phone, so complaints have to be made from your own phone online, with you glued to the screen. WiFi and mobile signal were both bad. The room has clear glass facing another building, and I’m not sure if it’s an apartment or another hotel.

It started out fine, and the staff service was nice, but my room had no fridge or safe. On the second day, a really bad sewage smell came from the toilet whenever I returned, so I had to air it out. Staff said it came from the sink and happened occasionally. They fixed it, but the smell returned a day later. Then the air conditioner started leaking, and there were loads of ants under the bed in the carpet. Whenever I stepped on it, ants came out, and some were on the table too. It’s a decent budget hotel, but I’m not sure I’d come back.
