It gets freezing at night here, so AC hardly seems necessary. The room rates were Rp. 250k, or Rp. 300k for a larger bed. Breakfast was fried rice and hot tea, served in the corner by the stairs. There’s a water heater and a kitchen tucked into the corner of the alley. Motorcycle noise was a downside.

The family room was large, but Rp. 600,000 felt steep for an old hotel building. I even saw a higher rate on agoda, over 700. The water heater didn’t work, and there was just one staff member on duty.

The admission staff were rude, and mosquitoes were everywhere. It was noisy at night, so sleeping was difficult. I also couldn’t use the old-style bathroom. They didn’t speak English, and although they answered in Indonesia language, breakfast still never came. I’d try somewhere else.

The place was dirty, damp, and filthy, with a rotten-sock smell and lots of mosquitoes. The admission guy was rude and impolite.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The price isn’t particularly cheap, and you can find better places for the same amount. Try somewhere else.
