The room was cramped, and the comfort was nowhere near what you’d expect for the price, which is nearly 30% of a five-star hotel rate. On the plus side, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. There were lots of mosquitoes, the shower didn’t work until I complained and they replaced it, and water was backing up in the washbasin. There wasn’t even toilet tissue in the room, and it took nearly half an hour to bring some after I asked.

This is a basic guesthouse with general facilities and limited parking, so on weekends you may have to park on the street. It’s a fairly economical place in Lembang to rest before heading to your next destination. The reception area and dining room are both small. You can use the complimentary kitchen to heat simple meals in the microwave or make coffee, tea, or instant noodles. A simple breakfast is served early, and you can order it when checking in. Snack vendors usually set up in front of the main entrance. Most of their traditional snacks are tasty, and Kue Pancong, coconut cake, is my favorite. Give it a try. Have fun here.

There’s a rooftop hangout spot, plus free-flow water, tea, and coffee. They also provide complimentary instant noodles and cereal each day. It’s a nice place to stay, though you should expect some noise since the price is quite cheap. I’ll definitely come back.

I booked two rooms, a suite and a deluxe, and both smelled damp and felt dirty and uncomfortable. There was a lizard in the room, yellow marks on a pillowcase, and used towels left in the bathroom. The shower space was too tight, though making it any smaller would be too much. There were no slippers or bath mat, and in the morning there were no glasses in the pantry. The suite also smelled damp, and the roof had black stains. Breakfast was only available with the suite, and the food was really bland. Parking was narrow too, and the security guard wasn’t very skilled at parking cars.
