The location was a real plus, almost right by Panakkukang mall, with good food and entertainment easy to find. I stayed five days. For basic prices, the service was reasonable for a 2-star place, and the staff were friendly and helpful. At IDR 300k for a single room, I wasn't expecting five-star treatment 🌝 The room was dirty, though. My sheet had lots of black and grey stains that I couldn't get out even with my own cleaner. There was also a big stain under the desk, as shown in the picture.

Check-in was smooth, and the security staff were nice and helpful. Service and location were good, but the room was awful: it smelled bad and looked old, and there was hair in the bathroom when I first got in. Had it even been cleaned? This was my second stay at amaris panakukkang. The first room was awful too, with dirt and a spider web in the corner. If my office hadn't booked it, I'd have chosen another hotel.

The security staff are good 👍👍👍 I've stayed here several times, mostly for business and educational events. Room service has been good, patient, and humble. You can get Wi-Fi access from the receptionist, and there's a Circle K right next door.

The room felt a little cramped, and breakfast doesn't give you much choice, but it was still okay. The staff were polite, helpful, and nice. It's a comfortable budget hotel, and for what you pay the facilities are reasonable.

The rooms are cozy, but my table was moldy. There's room for improvement. Whatever the restaurant is called, they should have someone ready to help guests, especially when the tea cups run out and there's nothing left to pour tea into 😑
