Kastuba Resort

We spent the Eid holidays here and had an excellent time. It's quiet, cold, and surrounded by nature, with nature as the only thing you hear. The food, atmosphere, room service, and staff were all superb. The weather was really good, too. A recommended resort if you want time in nature.

The food was quite tasty, and the portions were just right. The place itself is spacious, quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and I was satisfied with the service overall. I'll come back another time and recommend it to friends.

The views are beautiful everywhere, and we were driven by car from the lobby to our room. Bring sneakers or walking shoes if you want to jog or do other sports around Katsuba. I stayed about three days, but the resort never replenished our mineral water. That's why I'm taking off one star, so the owner will pay attention.

There aren't many facilities, though there is a mini playground, mini golf, a small soccer field with a net across the middle for volleyball, a seesaw, and a few other things. The bungalows are far enough apart to give families more privacy. There's lots of open space and trees, almost like a preserved forest, and the air is clean. The resort is about 50 minutes from Pasteur when traffic is smooth. The road there is narrow and winding. The front office is quite far from the rooms, and many rooms are high up the hill, so there's a lot of walking if you take the path. Most of the rooms were empty when I visited.
