The Mahoni 1 room had a nice design at first glance. Its wooden walls and plaited ceiling gave it a warm feel. But sound carries through those walls, so you can hear other people outside and lose your privacy, or they may hear you. The pool was disgusting, with green and black stuff visible on the ceramics. It looked like it had never been cleaned. The hot water tap didn’t work at all, even though I waited more than 2 minutes as the note instructed. My friends in Mahoni 3 on the same day managed to shower with warm water, so how come ours didn’t work? We stayed one night.

The staff were very helpful, and the hotel is across from Mang Engking, Lembang. It’s an old hotel with old facilities that need upgrading. The toilet flush didn’t work properly, and we almost missed the place because it’s tucked down a very small street.

The price was affordable, and it was a nice place for a stay of 1-2 nights. Too bad there wasn't a bathtub.
