For around USD 10 a night, the daily rate is amazing. This is a big old house right in the middle of tourist spots, with basic rooms for a simple stay. The air conditioning worked well, and so did the small bathroom. Towels were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows were good quality. There are parking spots, and guests need to follow the house rules.

The staff were friendly, and there are plenty of places to eat and minimarts nearby. The only water for sale is bottled. It was easy to add another night by paying cash. My room was spacious, very clean, and tucked away from the street, so it stayed quiet. The air conditioning was very strong even on its lowest setting, so I used the fan mode to sleep. Sometimes there wasn't hot water for a shower, and the outside lights were bright, so I turned them off and asked staff not to switch them on. Good location and value. I hope to stay here again.

There are all kinds of shops and restaurants around the hotel. My room was clean and nice, and the employees were friendly. Breakfast is available if you pay IDR 220.000.

I brought 40 people from Elsaria tour & travel to stay at Sri Timur hotel on 7/2/26. Ms. Asih and the other staff were friendly and gave us very good service. When we arrived, and again in the morning, they provided hot tea and hot drinking water for all 40 of us. The location is close to Malioboro, with plenty of places to eat and the Tugu steamed bakpia counter next door. It's a budget hotel, but the room and toilet were clean, the mattress was soft, the sheets were clean and comfortable, and the hot water was great. A comfortable, inexpensive hotel I'd recommend.
