We rented the whole property recently and loved having breakfast included, with staff around throughout the day to take food and cocktail orders. The 2-5 happy hour was fabulous, and we’ll definitely return. There was one issue with a room, but it wasn’t the owners’ or team’s fault, and they dealt with it promptly. Thank you, Dewa and team.

ATM, shops, good restaurants and lovely beaches are all nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I loved the location, decor and thoughtful details throughout this great little boutique hotel. Hope to come back soon 💕

We were there for a family member’s milestone birthday. Our family had the private villa with its own pool, and the other family had the rest of the villas around the main pool. Mushroom Bay beach and the local bars and restaurants are a five-minute walk or less. Loved the place and would definitely stay again.

A big plus is how close Castaway Resort is to lovely Mushroom Bay, about 200 metres away, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast is available and was OK, though we ate out most days. There are eight rooms in four pairs, which works well for families or couples travelling together. All face the pool, and each pair shares a verandah with seats and a hammock. The rooms are nice, though not luxurious, and we found the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is outdoors. The pool is a good size, but it gets steep quite quickly, so take care the first couple of times.
