The pool area is nice, and the shop they run has good prices and all the essentials. The staff weren't rude, but we didn't feel welcome. We ended up here because Kawans Inn was fully booked, and there were no apologies when we were moved. The room works for a cheap hotel, though you have to pick between privacy and daylight with the curtains. The doors are hard to lock, the bathroom felt dark and dirty, and neither Wi-Fi nor mobile data worked in the room. You can hear everything because of the half walls and big gaps under the doors. We heard neighbors in the bathroom and kids in the pool at 7:45 am. Maybe some rooms are better than others. Our booking said checkout was at 12 pm and we made plans around that, but staff insisted we leave at 11. Not a nice ending to the stay.

The location is great, with plenty of nice restaurants across the road, and the pool area is nice too. It's extremely cheap and does the job, but be ready for the downsides. We'd booked the hotel next door, but after an awful journey we were told it was full and could stay here instead. Staff seemed confused and weren't very welcoming at first, though we eventually got a room. The room was okay, but the bed was uncomfortable and the aircon kept blowing warm air once the room reached temperature. We woke up sweating every night. The bathroom was the worst part. It's a wet room, the shower barely had hot water, and the partial wall between bathrooms lets all the sound through. Bugs can also get in because the wall is only partial on the outside. When the neighbors turned on their bathroom light, ours lit up completely. The bedroom door was frosted glass rather than solid, so the light and sound came straight in, and we couldn't control the bathroom light. The towels smelled damp, and our room wasn't cleaned during our three nights. We had a pool view, but the front doors aren't soundproof, so kids jumping into the pool regularly woke us in the mornings. Wi-Fi didn't work at all, and for some reason our data connection also failed on the hotel grounds.

The location, price, staff, rooms, pool, restaurant, all of it is fantastic. A total must. You'd be mad to miss this place!

The captain made the snorkeling trip even better than I expected. I booked because of the great snorkeling reviews, and we basically had a private charter all the way to Manta Point. We saw around 8-12 mantas and a small reed shark. If you're on lembongan, I'd say snorkeling is a must. The place is close to several restaurants if you don't want to eat at the one on the property. The staff were some of the friendliest I've met on this trip.
