It’s a simple place, but perfectly fine. Nothing to complain about. The staff are lovely and helpful, and there are plenty of restaurants close by. Breakfast is basic, but enough.

It was a short walk to Mushroom Beach, and the rooms were nice. The pool was lovely, with loungers, and the staff were friendly. The price was so cheap that we were the only couple at the resort.

The bar beside our bungalow had live music, but they stopped by 10 PM, so it didn’t bother us. We had a great stay at Damara, just a short distance from Mushroom Bay. The staff were attentive and very helpful, and being able to rent scooters right there was super convenient.

Coming back to Damara every season feels like coming home. It’s a family-run resort in a great location, with an amazing team. If you want somewhere peaceful close to the beach, this is the spot for you.

The pool was great, and the hotel arranged a motorcycle for us. There’s a puppy on site too 😄😄. Breakfast was very basic, just toast with butter and jam, plus coffee and orange juice. An egg or something alongside it would have been nice. The bathroom in our room was semi-open, and mosquito nets were provided. The staff were very helpful and attentive. There’s also a minibar where you can buy water and other soft drinks.
