The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff were warm and friendly. Thanks again, Jeff. I can't give more than three stars, though. At checkout we were charged for water bottles, even though the tap water isn't drinkable. We also paid full price for a snorkeling tour that lasted 1.5h instead of the planned 3h. The experience wasn't good either, since they took us out in bad seas. Four of the seven people got sick and didn't snorkel at all. I'd have liked more attention to whether people were enjoying the snorkeling, rather than simply getting them out there.

The drain smelled really bad after use, and that's the reason for the star deduction. We'll mention it to the staff again at checkout. The road in front of the hotel is in poor condition too, so I wouldn't recommend riding a scooter there if you don't know how to handle one. We stayed three nights and extended our booking. Our upstairs room was cozy and comfortable, and the garden was clean with lots of green palm trees. The pool was nice, and we enjoyed a few cold Bintang there. We had dinner at the hotel one evening. The food was okay to good and well priced. We can recommend this accommodation.

The staff were very good, but the place is dated and has only basic facilities. Internet was very limited and there was no TV. Breakfast was basic too, just eggs and toast with a hot drink and a glass of juice. I had to pay 25k for half a glass of milk for my son because they said it wasn't included in the package. I don't think I'll come back.

The staff were amazing. They always greeted me by name and asked how my day was. I had a wonderful six-night stay, with a comfortable bed, hot water, and no noise, which is a must for me. I don't ride a scooter, but I could walk to everything I wanted to see, including Cengian Island and Blue Lagoon. I booked my snorkeling trip through the hotel, much cheaper than Get my Guide. There were only four of us from the hotel on the boat, instead of an overcrowded day trip. We saw Manta Rays, turtles, and so many fish. Breakfast was yummy, about what you'd expect at this price, with eggs and toast or pancakes, juice, and fruit. It's not a five-star hotel, and you'd need to pay more for that. But if you want a clean place with a good night's sleep, hot water, and AC, stay here.
