It took us about 17 minutes to walk here after our fastboat stopped at Mushroom Beach. The place is incredibly pretty and peaceful, and the owner's family were genuinely welcoming and kind. We rented a scooter from them to explore the island, which was very convenient. Breakfast is made fresh to order and was absolutely delicious. :)

We had four wonderful days in Nusa Gedong. The bungalows and accommodation are beautiful, and Putu is truly legendary. We laughed so much with him and will definitely return if we visit the island again. 💙🏝️ There are quite a few roosters around the island, so it can get a bit noisy. Earplugs might be useful.

The family made our stay at Gedong Nusa special. They sorted out laundry, helped with whatever we needed, and rented us scooters at the best price we found on our trip. We spent three nights there and loved how quiet and clean it was, with a nice simple breakfast and a lovely pool for a morning swim.

We loved the huts and the beautiful pool, and the staff were fantastic. Kadek made sure we felt welcome and well cared for. Seeing Biyu, the cutest dog, around most days was a lovely extra. We had such a great time that leaving was hard.

The pool area feels like paradise, and the gorgeous huts and working facilities made the place amazing. You can get a cold beer at local prices, too. It’s set away from the main strip, about a 10 minute scooter ride, and close to beautiful beaches and plenty of good food and drink options. Young Putu was so friendly and made us feel at home, always ready to help with a big smile. Nothing I’d change, and we’ll be back. I’d recommend booking directly with Putu, the older Putu who owns the place, on WhatsApp so he can avoid the fees.
