The owner was very kind and helpful, and the location was good, away from street noise and just 200 metres from Mushroom Bay beach. The pool was superb and the bed very comfortable. Our villa was #2, and I can't say whether the others are the same, but I was very disappointed by the bathroom: the mirror was broken, the ceramic floor was in poor shape, and the toilet and toilet paper holder were dirty and stained. It was also very humid inside, and I had to ask for fresh sheets.

Agus and the staff were very friendly, and the rooms were nice and cleaned every day. The pool was great too. The beach is about a three-minute walk away. Apple Maps shows the shortcut, while Google Maps doesn't. The shower is the kind you get used to in Indonesia, or Southeast Asia generally. Breakfast was decent, especially the pancakes or eggs.

Agus and Gidday quietly made sure everything ran smoothly, and we're so grateful to them. Their banana pancakes were delicious. The accommodation was gorgeous, immaculate and always fresh. Although it's only a three-minute walk to the beach, the honeybee huts feel secluded, with no neighbours and a natural setting along a rickety side road. It was a beautiful place for a slow, intimate, authentic stay, and I felt thankful for what was offered. Stunning. It's owned and run by a local family, which made it even better.

The people running HoneyBee Huts were lovely and always happy to help, and breakfast pancakes were delicious. The AC worked really well. It took us a little while to get used to the cold showers, but we really enjoyed the stay. I'd recommend it if you want a quiet pace of life close to the beach.

Agus was a wonderful host, and I'd happily stay here again. The place is peaceful, away from the noise but still close to everything, and I could conveniently rent a scooter from them. The AC was nice and cold compared with places where friends were staying. There were the usual ants and other little things outside in the bathroom, but they didn't bother me. There's a safe in the room, though it isn't attached to anything. I felt comfortable leaving my belongings out without any issue. Thanks for everything, Agus!
