Kawans Inn Lembongan

A friend recommended this place, and I'm glad I booked. We had connecting double rooms, one with a pool and the other with a kitchen and outdoor living area. It was clean and gave us privacy while keeping my friend close by. The inn is in a great spot, a short ride from Lembongan Harbour and near the bars and shops along the main street. The cafe by the entrance is handy, though I skipped breakfast since I never know when I'll get out of bed. I also liked having a WhatsApp contact for customer service. It let me easily ask if my room was available to rebook and extend my stay. Overall, a very good experience, and I'd book again if I return to Lembongan. My AC was cold. It was set warmer than I liked when I arrived, but the room cooled down a few minutes after I lowered it. The shower had hot water, though it took two or three minutes to heat up, and I had to turn the temperature down. The water temperature isn't steady and gets cooler if it runs continuously for a few minutes. My room didn't feel humid, unlike other places I've stayed in Bali where the bedding felt wet. I haven't included room photos because I'm still in mine with my things everywhere. I couldn't get photos of my friend's room either, since she had checked out and new guests had arrived, so the connecting door was locked.

The staff are what make Kawans cafe feel so good. They were welcoming and friendly, and offered plenty of local tips. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the cafe food is yummy. You can rent a scooter there too. I'd absolutely recommend staying or just stopping by for a bintang and smoothie bowl.

The food here is fantastic, and so are the smoothies. They've added a new menu since I was here two years ago, with even more choices, and the restaurant food was excellent then too. It can take a while to arrive, but it's cooked with care in the open kitchen. The people are super friendly, and the room was nice and very clean. Even in a busy area, it stayed quiet inside. Highly recommended!

I stayed for four days, then added a few more because I liked it so much. The rooms are nice and everything worked as expected. The shower was good, breakfast was free and good for the price, and it's about a 10 minute walk from the ferry.
