The rooms looked worn, and the photos gave a misleading impression, though the shower was good and bed nets were provided. Breakfast was basic, with eggs, fruit, cheap tea or instant coffee. You choose the night before and it arrives in your room. That's despite a sister restaurant next door with a much wider breakfast selection. Service felt less friendly and accommodating than at other places we visited in Bali. We were told in writing that petrol came with scooter hire, but the bike had just one bar of fuel and soon started flashing. When we asked for more, we were told the included fuel was only what was already in the tank. We also wanted to rent a scooter after arriving after dark, then keep it the next day. Instead of paying for a 24-hour rental, we were asked to pay more than an extra half-day. Checkout is 11am here, while it's typically noon across the island and apparently in Bali too. We asked to leave at 11:30 after our morning snorkel trip so we could shower, and they agreed reluctantly. On our last morning, they wouldn't provide breakfast at 7:30 before our trip, or offer even fruit and tea prepared the night before. We were looking forward to staying after seeing the photos and good reviews, but the stay disappointed us. There are plenty of ways to improve guest satisfaction that cost nothing, and either the photos or the rooms need updating.

We loved LGood, especially how welcoming and friendly everyone was. Our room was cute and cozy, with breakfast served on the patio each day, and there was a nice pool. It's very close to mushroom bay. Cindy deserves a special mention, she was amazing with my two boys. My family and I would love to come back someday.

The villa was beautiful, roomy and comfortable, and the staff were truly incredible at looking after what guests needed. We loved the friendly welcome, the varied breakfast options and the lovely pool. The spa also does great massages at amazing prices. It's a great location and such good value. We'd totally recommend it.

The veranda table was a bit too small for breakfast, and our double-bed deluxe room felt cramped. They provided a baby bed, but it barely fit, leaving me hardly any space to put our baby into it. The pool looked much bigger in the photos.
