Living Room Lembongan

Set one street back from the main road, it's easy to reach dive shops and restaurants even without a scooter, while still feeling tucked away and quiet. The garden and pool are lovely for relaxing, and the outside kitchen is a nice extra for storing snacks and drinks in the fridge. The rooms are great, with comfortable beds, a good bathroom, and plenty of plug sockets. A really good base for diving or exploring the island. I'd recommend it.

A torch or flashlight could come in handy for the walk back at night. The place is one road behind the main street, so it's peaceful if you're after a relaxing stay. There are just four units, plus a nice pool and shared kitchen. The grounds are well kept and constantly cleaned, and the rooms are basic but spacious. The kitchen is perfectly adequate for making coffee, keeping beers cold, or putting together a quick breakfast. If you don't want to eat at a restaurant every time but don't feel like cooking, you can get takeaway and eat it in the dining area. The island water is a bit brackish, as it is elsewhere on the island.

The housekeeping was so thorough, they refolded all my clothes, tidied my things, and even moved the clothes horse into the sun so my stuff could dry. There are lots of hooks in the room too, a small detail that was really useful. The shower was good and adjustable. It's a quiet room without breakfast, but there's a mini-kitchen and fridge, which is great for a longer stay. Really recommend this hidden gem. One small suggestion: a “do not disturb” sign would help. For a short stay, I usually don't want my room cleaned, and it would save them time, though I really appreciated how thorough they were.

Very convenient for Blue Corner dive and anything in that end of the village. The place is clean and tidy, and serviced every day. Staff are super helpful, they even arranged clothes cleaning. There's air con, an ensuite toilet and shower, a pool, and a shared kitchen with three other rooms. Good value, and we'll definitely be back.
