Lumbung Bali Huts

The location is perfect, but the AC in our room was basically useless. They brought us an extra pedastal fan, which made sleeping bearable. During the day, though, it was cooler outside than in the room. Staff were alright, but hard to find at times or just sitting around. Glad we only stayed one night. 4/10 overall.

I loved spending five days here. The views of the bay, sand underfoot as soon as you step off the bottom stair, friendly smiles, and the sound of the ocean made it feel peaceful and connected. You can also hear the nearby community. It’s traditional Balinese living in a Joglo with a thatched roof and a private outdoor bathroom, along with quiet aircon and wifi for a modern touch. This was something different from my usual routine, and just what I wanted. Come for a few days and enjoy the islands many and varied communities and beaches. Authentic Balinese accommodation, food, and culture are slowly being pushed out by tourists who want the comforts of home. It’s lovely to find places like this for people who want to experience another culture in its own country. Thank you, Ketut, Guy, and Wita, for the lovely space and warm, friendly service.
