Nusa Indah Bungalow

I didn’t stay overnight, just ate here and relaxed on their recliners during the day. The menu has plenty of variety and prices were okay. The smoothies and milkshakes were tasty, and the shakes were made with real milk, not chocolate milk and ice. The people were super nice, as I assume everyone on this island is. The music got annoying, though, because they played the same playlist over and over.

The hotel and dining area are right on the beach, just where you want them. It does take a little walk to get there, but that didn’t bother me. I stayed two nights. The food and drinks weren’t quite good enough, though.

The cafe sits on the sand, with bean bags and access to other restaurants along the beach. It’s a lovely spot for sunsets, cheap cocktails and unwinding after a full day. The staff seem to know people all over the island and can help arrange surf pickups, rides, day trips, island hopping, snorkelling and other adventures. With a scooter, it’s easy to get to Nusa Cenanigan and the yellow bridge, and you’re not far from anything. We really enjoyed our stay at Nusa Indah and highly recommend it as a base. The staff were amazing and friendly, and our room was very clean and maintained daily. Breakfast starts at 7.30 but is very basic, though it does the job. Massages cost less than $20 Australian and were worth every penny, so we had one every day. We hired a very cheap scooter through the hotel. The pool was clean and tidy, but there didn’t seem to be much for younger kids. Be aware that the balcony room stairs are quite steep. Getting from the village road to the waterfront with luggage is a trek, about two or three minutes on foot, but our taxi drivers always helped. That confusing little walk is worth it tenfold. We loved our time on the island!

I was here with my family and we had an amazing time. The rooms were comfortable and nice, the staff were friendly, and the food was beautiful. It’s right by the beach, great for swimming and relaxing. Highly recommend it.
