For the price, this feels like an upscale place without the upscale bill. The interior is surprisingly modern, with a floor-to-ceiling window between the bedroom and bathroom, plus another window looking into your own private pool. The pool is cool and relaxing, and the fountain makes a lovely sound to fall asleep to. It's close enough to the boat drop-off to walk, but set far enough back from the main road that you don't hear motors. The host is really friendly and can arrange a motorbike rental or boat ride if you need one. Five stars for the value.

Don't trust the reservation. The place is closed, and you'll be left looking like an idiot outside a house that's still under construction.
