Sari Nusa Inn

The location is good, and the little shop next door had a very friendly owner. You can rent a motorbike here and arrange other tours. For a low budget stay it was okay, but I wouldn’t have stayed 12 days if we hadn’t already paid, and I wasn’t impressed enough to stay that long again. The family room toilet smelled strongly of sewage, and they couldn’t fix it, so we moved upstairs to a twin room, which was better. Rooms are cleaned on request rather than daily. That’s manageable, but not ideal with two kids. The bedding could have been better and the towels were very old. The place is basic, and honestly the photos make it look better. A cockroach was in the bathroom. The pool had so many chemicals that the kids got itchy and developed a rash. We asked to have breakfast outside our room and were told no, though I saw other guests doing that, which was annoying. We wanted to change hotels. The location’s good, but there’s a lack of care in other areas.

There was plenty of room for three friends to share, so we weren’t cramped at all. Both the room and bathroom were spotless. The location was great, close to the main cluster of shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good, with one menu choice and a drink, and the service was quick. Definitely recommend.

The location is great and the staff were fairly friendly, but the rooms are very basic and run down. Our AC barely worked and made a lot of noise, and there’s almost no sound insulation. I’m sure the staff try, but the place wasn’t very clean or appealing. With so many other hotels nearby, I’d look elsewhere.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Employees were very sweet, and the pool looked new and was very clean. The bathroom was quite old and rusty but okay. My main complaint is housekeeping: reception said the room would be cleaned daily or every other day, but it was never cleaned. The towels also had holes in them.
