The view is stunning, and the grounds, pool, and rooms are all nicely kept. We had hot water and good aircon, and the staff were always happy to help. Getting up the hill is a bit dodgy, but it’s a short stretch and the drivers know it well. It’s manageable on a scooter too. The food options are very local and basic, though there are lots of great eateries nearby. Like pretty much everywhere in regional Indonesia, ear plugs are a must. I’d definitely stay here again.

The hilltop location was one of my favourite things, and the road up was an adventure on the first trip, though it got easier every time. The pool was great and deep, the bed was good, and the shower had hot water. It’s a quiet area, with birds to listen to in the early morning and evening.

We were welcomed so warmly by a very sweet family. The sea views are beautiful, and being surrounded by nature and birds makes it feel peaceful and serene. We had an amazing stay at Sunset Hill. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Everything else was fine, including the hot water, AC, and refrigerator. The rooms were clean, the pool was lovely, and the staff were friendly. It’s a quiet spot for anyone who likes peace. The road to get there is a real dead end, so scooter riders should take it slow 😅. The garden outside the room hadn’t been mowed, maybe they’re short on staff.

The owners were lovely, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The owner picked fruit for us each day and prepared it, which was so nice. Our clean, comfortable room was quiet while we were there. The pool is large and refreshing, with a great spot to relax in the sun, and the sunset views are amazing. It’s a little farther from things than some other places and sits up a hill, but getting around is fine if you’re confident on a scooter. Mushroom beach, massage places, and restaurants are close by scooter. There were a couple of Wi-Fi issues, but they’d mentioned that in the description, so it was no problem for us. Would recommend!
